Marshall’s Story.

9th October 2007

Marshall is a small, grey, stuffed mouse, who we bought about 15 years ago for our cats to play with.  After his novelty had worn off, along with his eyes, ears and tail, he was mostly ignored. A small fabric bag of stuffing with no discernible features and no friends. That was until Grover died.

Tabbies.

9th October 2007

The familiar tabby cat is reputed to have acquired its name from Attabiah, a part of old Baghdad where a black and white silk with a watered pattern effect was manufactured. This silk was known in England as ‘tabbi-silk’ and due to the similarity of the silk to the cats’ markings, these cats became known as tabbies.
